Most Ford engines were originally designed with a front sump oil pan and a front mounted oil pump. Later models are rear sumps which require a long pickup tube running from the front mounted pump to the rear of the pan. These rear sump equipped engines have a main cap bolt to support the pickup while early style engines may not. For those applications we offer these main cap bolts...
